Mark your calendars! Valley Metro is making improvements and adjustments to bus service on April 22 and rail service on April 25.
The POGO, Peoria On the Go, is starting service in the North Peoria and Glendale area. This free service will connect to libraries, high schools and the P83 entertainment district. It also stops at the Arrowhead Transit Center for connections to the rest of the Valley.
In Avondale, ZOOM North and South bus circulators are adding Sunday service and to match their Saturday service.
Several RAPID routes have schedule adjustments to support increased capacity, as well as adding more frequent trips.
Updates are also being made to routes 3, 13, 17, 19, 27, 28, 50, 51, 52, 60, 65, 66, 67, 90, 96, 106, 136, 138 and South Mountain West RAPID (SMW).
Starting April 25, the new 50th St/Washington Station will be open for riders to access communities and businesses in the area.
